Grief Coaching
Your grief is as unique as you are, unfolding on its own timeline. In today's world, many of us lack the tools to navigate loss. Though grief is a natural response to loss, it can feel and overwhelming and isolating, especially without the right support. I provide a safe, supportive space where you process your feelings and develop personalized strategies to tend to your grief in order to heal and grow. I am here to witness, listen to, and support you along the way. This work can be done on its own or combined with mind-body healing.

Grief is a full-body experience, encompassing physical, social, psychological, biological, and spiritual dimensions. We don't grieve solely our hearts, but also with our mind and body. Alongside a range of emotions grief often brings physical symptoms that can be challenging. I offer a holistic, body-centered approach for working with and healing grief. Drawing on my yoga experience as well as other practices, I help clients reconnect their mind and body to fully process and heal their grief. This healing work can be done on its own or combined with personalized grief coaching.
Grief yoga and healing yoga, including group workshops
Grief can feel isolating—but you don’t have to go through it alone. At Root & Rise, I offer grief support groups that create a safe, nurturing space for connection, healing, and shared understanding.
In these groups, you’ll be met with compassion, not pressure; presence, not platitudes. We honor that grief looks different for everyone and doesn’t follow a timeline. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, these groups are a place to be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Engage in meaningful conversation and exchange with others who are learning to live with loss. Offering virtual and in-person options.
Many people mistakenly believe that grief is something to "fix" or to "get over." There’s often an unspoken expectation that grief follows a set timeline—that after a certain period, someone should have moved on. But the truth is, grief has no timetable, and each person’s experience is unique. While we can’t erase grief, there is so much we can do to help others understand the grieving process and provide support for grievers. I offer talks and educational sessions to communities, workplaces, and schools on:
Understanding grief as a normal, human experience
Dispelling common myths about grief, including the belief that it has a timeline or can be “fixed”
How to truly support others who are grieving—with presence and compassion
